I'm currently nursing a hangover which is what you get when you partied from 10pm to 5am, drank 6 bottles of beer, took 4 shots of whatever (because I really don't know what they put in the drink), and 1 cup of the traitor drink (which is what I call a drink that tastes fruity/7 up-y pero may whaapppaakkkk!!!!!).
Last night was the first party (na hindi thrown by my Pinoy friends) that I attended here in Ireland. I was bummed kasi naalala ko na Beer Bash pala sa HP kahapon. Matagal na naming inaanticipate nina Fred, Joel and Yayie yung event na yun kaso di ko rin naman naabutan. I was planning to just hang around sa bahay pero dahil bummed ako nakitag-along na lang ako kay Ado sa gimik nya, which was a despedida party for his South African friend who just resigned sa company to go to Dublin.
The people were really friendly... medyo awkward ng konti syempre nung pagdating namin. Kami lang kasi yung pinoy ni Ado. Pero sya may mga kakilala na dun, although marami-rami rin namang hindi magkakakilala sa party so almost equal footing kami lahat. Ang common denominator lang (ng most people) ay si Henri which incidentally looks like Patrick Dempsey with dreadlocks.
United Nations kami dun kasi may people from Philippines, India, South Africa, Italy, France and of course Ireland.
You know seryosong magparty ang mga tao dito kasi kanya-kanyang dala ng beer, wine, rhum, vodka, chasers, chips, lamb dish, kanin, doobies, yosi, crackers, etc. Pero ang clincher ay meron kaming 2 DJs (na friends din ni henri) at syempre may dala silang turntables (yun ba tawag dun?) at boxes ng vinyl records.
Highlights/Lowlights:
1) According to my new Irish friend, Adr (yung isa sa mga DJ), na ego-booster sya na there were 3 guys who made a pass at me. Hmm, I guess. Pero di ko sila type. At medyo paw-y sila habang sumasayaw yuckyuckyuck. Na-miss ko tuloy si Vina at Chesca kapag nirerescue nila ako sa NY dancefloors. Ang lalakas ng loob magbump and grind, maliliit naman. Boo!
2) Had a lovely time (o di ba irish na irish) talking with Adr in between his DJ'ing. Buti na lang may karelyebo sya hehehehe
3) Yung isang guy dun, si Sun - had only one thing in his mind that night - to get everybody drunk. Sya yung magpapassaround ng shots nung drink habang sinasabi 'For Henri!' He's a regular Energizer bunny kasi sya rin yung lalabas sa mgayosi areas or sa couch para idrag back ka sa dance floor. Although at one time, while pumipila sa banyo, andun sya sa loob ng restroom na kasama yung isang girl - si Cha! hihihihihihihi
4) Speaking of Cha, she's a really really nice girl and really really friendly. She's mixing her own rhum coke and making a pass at almost every guy sa party. Yung purpose nya talaga that night is to get drunk and get laid. Hehehehehe I think I saw her make out with at least 3 guys ;-) you go girl! hehehehe
5) Yung mga guys pumupunta sa labas para magsmoke ng doobie hehehe grabe ngayon lang ako nakapunta sa party na meronnagjujutes hehehehe
At 5am, nagpahatid na talaga ako kay Ado kasi di ko na kaya magstay pa. And creepy yung isang guy eh nakikinig lang ako intently dun sa sinasabi nung isang friend nya akala nya agad may gusto na ako dun sa kaibigan nya. Sabi ba naman "Do you like him? I can get you a guy like him..." Hello! Asa Bangkok ba tayo? Pimp ka ba?
So there. Balik muna ako sa water therapy ko...
