I'm Choleric Melancholy

I'm trying to digest this bit of information... I'm definitely choleric most of the time but I'm also melancholic. I was looking at the list of characteristics for both personalities and it looks to me like a choleric is the exact opposite of a melancholic! Can you say bipolar?
